Discovery Center

We took Brayden to the Discovery Center today to use his free pass he earned from the library this summer (he had to read 20 minutes a day or be read to 20 minutes a day). He loved some parts of it and other parts were way over his head. He loved the channel 2 room which had a green screen set up so you could see yourself on TV in different locations. There were also green pieces of material and Brayden loved to wrap them around himself and watch Brayden disappear. He thought it was great.

He also loved the chair that you pull yourself up on and some ball thing. I think is absolute favorite part was the mini grocery store they have set up there so little kids can go shopping. They have mini shopping carts and play food and it is all set up like a grocery store. They even had checkout stands that beeped when you ran the barcode over them. He loved going shopping and putting things in his cart and then checking out. It kept him occupied for hours. I think he spent most of the time there. It was a fun day out and next time Brayden would like to go ride the paddle boats that he saw going around the Discovery Center.
