Very Busy Weekend

It seems like all we did this weekend was go this place and that.  I don't think we were home for more than an hour.  It was so busy but lots of fun.  We started out meeting Brandon's sister at Settler's Park.  She has been here for 3 weeks and we just barely got to see her before she left Sunday.  The kids had fun at Settlers but it was warm and there were a lot of people.  After Settlers we loaded up and headed down the street for the Dairy Days Parade.  My kids love this parade because of the chocolate milk, string cheese, and t-shirts.  It was a long time for the parade to start but luckily I brought snacks to pass the time.

 We got home late Saturday night and had to get up early to go to the zoo on Saturday.  The kids loved the zoo, especially Kyler, although he insisted on walking around instead of riding in the stroller.

 This year I forked out the extra money for the butterfly exhibit.  It was so worth it!  The kids loved it.  They loved holding the butterflies and letting them land on them.  Brayden was so disappointed because no butterflies were landing on him.  He sat down to pout and one landed on his back. 

We came home after the zoo and I did my zoo paperwork while Kyler took a nap.  As soon as I finished Brandon got home and we headed to Emmett for Cherry Festival.  We watched the parade, got tons of candy, and had a BBQ at Brandon's parents house.  Before we left Emmett we stopped at RoeAnn's and got ice cream and phosphates, a must!  Sunday we went to church and then came home and got a short nap before we headed to Brandon's sisters house for dinner.  We got home past 11:00 pm everyday this weekend and the kids were exhausted by Sunday night.  We had a fun weekend but I am so glad it is over.
