We were able this past week to participate in the Unplug and Be Outside week. It was a lot of fun and we tried to get to a lot of the events. The kids loved getting their sticker and going to new places. We went to storytime at the library on Wednesday, Thursday was fishing at Settlers Pond. This one was a big hit. Brayden loved fishing and even though it was raining, windy, and freezing cold he didn't want to leave. We have decided we need to find someone to take him fishing again (his dad is not into fishing at all). Friday we did a fun run at Settler's Park and got some fun goodies at the end-a shirt, a frisbee, and and water bottle. Then we went swimming for free at the YMCA. The kids had a blast. Saturday was a trip to Sierra Trading post to try out some camping fun. The learned to build fires, tie knots, and got to walk across a slack line. Later that afternoon we went out to the wild horse corral. I never knew this place existed and it was a lot of fun. My scaredy cat, Brooklyn, loved the horses and was climbing the fence to pet them. Later that afternoon the boys went to free gym with Brandon and the girl's went out to the story trail (we went for a hike too).
